Happy Wednesday Everyone! I finally can share a little sneak peek of a special book I’ve been working on for a while. This has been a lifelong dream to tell a story that is close to my heart. “Coquí in the City”, is a story about how Miguel and his family move from Puerto Rico to the U.S., leaving his beloved pet Coquí and his beautiful island behind. While saying goodbye is very difficult, Miguel finds a way to adjust. He discovers things that are similar, welcomes new experiences, and most importantly holds his memories and culture close to his heart. More images to come.
